Rendering in Maya

1. I have really enjoyed playing with the different rendering options so much, that I have been forgetting to screenshot. Anyway, this is a basic render with mental ray, and the shadow on the cube turned off. I also learned how to add and manipulate lighting, and also to add additional lighting for the sole purpose of increasing specularity.
2. Learning about direct and indirect lighting for outdoor scenes
3. Increasing the red/blue shift to bring out some warmer tones, and changing the direction of the directional light to cast more dynamic shadows.
4. Adding a glow to the thrusters
5. Editing the dust particles so that they show up in the rendered image, and appear more natural with the scene.
6. Final Rendered Perspective View

7. Final Rendered Animation
